Bought a blue line Glock 22 today from a police distributor and got some ectra mags. Asked about LEO AR mags. Dealer said he had some straight body 20rd ones made by DPMS. HEre is the description - anyone ever heard of these before?:

Moly coat and 5 weld spine just like commercial Colts in the 1980-90s.

I'm not overly knowledgable about LEO mags but my guess, if it's made in Hartford CT, it's manufactured by Okay industries. IIRC O-kay vended Colt's 20s. Anyone with more knowledge, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I can't see multiple manufacturer's of mags operating out of the same town in CT. So, if they are cheaper than Colt LEO mags, it's cause you didn't notice a Prancing Pony on the floor plate. Sly

They are not DPMS. They are Okay Industries private label. Due to military contract obligations, they are no longer allowed to sell LE/Export hi caps under the OKay name. I got a couple cases for of 30's and 20's for an LE agency. ( Still have some left I think )The 30's had the cage code 33710; sound familiar, It's OKay Industries ; who also makes the Colt 30's

What does the NHMTG stand for? How does the LE agency FFL get them in bulk? Who do you order them from?
