Near new condition with everything but the original rubber armored 3x9 scope. Is that a bad price, okay price, or great price? Buy or pass? What do you think?

Sounds like a good price.  The Colt/Hakko scope will bring you $150-$200 on EE.  You could always sell to a ban-state (except for CT which bans mostly all pre-ban colts).  Not a whole lot that the old Delta's will do that a new rifle won't in a better package, besides have the pony and the triangle on the side.
 











Are you sure it is pre-ban, and not ban-era?  Ban-era Colt's are not in high demand anywhere for various reasons.
