Who makes a good moun that I can use on my RRA flattop that will allow me to move the scope(cantelever) a bit more forward for better eye relief.

I've used the Yankee Hill 5" rail extender quite successfully.  Bought it from Bushmaster for $34.95.  However, I did have to file down the top hand guard a tiny bit so it wasn't rubbing on it.  

If you're looking for an actual scope mount that will do that, the LaRue is very nice...I just got mine today.  Unfortunately, it's expensive...$215.00 or so.  It's very high quality, and looks like it will last for a good long time.  The thumb levers are adjustable, which is a big plus.  This will extend the scope about 3 or 4" or so, and the rings are built in.  

If you already have rings, and just need some extension, then look at the ARMS #36....that could save you some money, if you can pick one up cheap in the EE.    

I have no experience with the YHM thingie, so I can't really comment on it.

Out of curiosity, what scope do you have, and how much futher do you need to go.  IIRC, the Armalite will push the scope forward a *little*, but not much.  

The RRA is a huge mount, and it doesn't really get you anything in terms of moving the scope forward.  

I'm using a Bushnell Banner 1-4 on a RRA flattop with an A1 stock. The scope calls for about 3.5-4" relief. I need to push the scope forward about an inch or so. I like this scope a whole bunch in that the Circle X reticle covers  a 10" plate at 100yards. It is like using a dot ...but easier for those of us who are getting older and are visually challanged.  Hell....I'm lucky if I can see a plate at 100 yds....let alone hit it!!!!!

lol...depends on what your definition of "forward" is.  

I'm looking at my RRA mount now.  I guess I would have to concede that it does allow the scope to move 1/3" forward.  I don't know how practical that is, though.  Not to mention the height of the RRA mount, which I find a little high for most scopes.  Can't argue with the price, though.  

The Armalite mount allows for about an inch of forward movement, and would probably be perfect for what he has in mind.  

Yankee hill makes a rail exension/riser...for $35, it may be the easiest/cheapest solution...you could use your exsisting rings.  Go to the YHM site and check it out...they come in 5" or 7".

After checking on RRA website, that looks like what they're talking about.

I have the YHM rail extender in 7" and it give you plenty of room to mount a scope, it's solid and it's reatively cheap.

The eye relief is just perfect for my scope.  I am using a simmons pro-diamond 1.5-5x20.  I tis a popular 3-gun scope.  I have yet to shoot it since Just built the rifle 2 days ago, but when i shoulder the rifle the scope is perfect.  I will let you know when i shhot the rifle next week.
