What is a good flip up front sight that will fit on a gas block that sits lower than the receiver?

There are not a lot of choices for the gas block sights.
I'd look at the Midwest Industries or the YHM.

the sights are going to be buis because I am looking to put a Vortex Strikefire red dot on as primary sights. Will the iron sights work fine even though the gas block sits just a little below the receiver? Sits maybe 1/8 -1/4 of an inch below the receiver rail.

The gas block models are slightly taller to accommodate for the lower sitting gas block. They keep both sights on the same plane.

Don't use a normal front buis, it will sit to low.

Try Midwest Industries.

I used an MI gas block height front sIght that worked well for several years.
My only gripe is that it does not fold flat because the sight would contact the rail before it was folded all the way flat

1) Get rid of the railed gas block
2) Go to Wilson Combat
3) Buy their flip up GB/sight for $88 on special now
4) Do it now before they're sold out.

Now that's a legitimate sale price.
