Mabey a dumb question but on the flat top uppers that have the front sight when you mount a scope doesnt the front sight get in the way?

It is there but you don't notice it except on low power scopes where you might see a "shadow".
If I remember correctly the sight doesn't really effect anything above 4-power.

Depending on the depth of view you can see the front sight with a low power scope. I have a 4x scope that displays the front sight pretty clearly - but that doesn't bother me.
