Phantom and Vortex will both make a 14.5" long enough to be legal. Kurt makes A2 looking suppressors that will do the same, for those that like the A2 looks. [url]www.kurtskustomfirearms.citymax.com/page/page/8932.htm[/url]

The Gemtec Bi-Lock will do it and gives you the added benefit of a QD mount for a suppressor.

Kurt's A3 TacBrake on an ArmaLite and a Bushmaster. The barrels were reprofiled LW and cut to 14 1/2", the A3's permanently attached bring them back out to 16"... Kurt's work is outstanding...

Looks good. Thanks again. I take it Kurt's comp is the same diameter as stock, so that the bayonet fits?
