What are the differences among Flash Suppressors, Compensators, and Muzzle Breaks?

And their advantages and disadvantages?

Thanks

Flash Supressors are designed to break up the muzzle blast and supress it - minimization

Muzzle Breaks are designed to help lessen recoil by redirecting the gas coming out of the muzzle.

FH pros- less flash, better for shooting at night, lessons the chance of position give away, may help upward recoil. Cons - no recoil control, depending on design - can cause dust kick up when bottom slots are machined in.

MB pros - recoil control for heavier calibers, faster follow-up shots. Cons - sucks to be beside you, not designed to control flash.

It's spelled 'brake' not 'break'.
