Does anybody make a flash can where the threaded portion of can is recessed into the can by 1-2 inches so that the barrel/can junction is hidden and the can body will fit within the handguard?  The effect being that you see nothing but can diameter projecting out the front of handguard but in reality the front of the barrel is in front of the handguard.

Is this what your talking about? I just have a flash can with a longer handrail than the barrel

Yep thats the look I want and I know it can be achieved with a handguard that runs past the barrel threading.

However I have a CZ Evo whose barrel extnds past the handguard and I desire that the can extends back underneth its handguard.
I've never seen what I'm asking for but it seems like a common problem for people who have a barrel that extends just a bit past the
end of the handguard (which I'd say is a large % of builds).

The picture above looks like a KAK can which is what I'll end up with if I can't find what I'm asking for.

Kineti-Tech has some offerings that cover the barrel.

Sounds like a request for a flash can with "reverse offset".
I've not seen one, but that doesn't mean that it can't be done.
You could just have the barrel cut back and re-treaded.

How are you at drawing out EXACTLY what you want with dimensions?  If you can draw it out with rough dimensions then contact Thomas at Paladin Machine Shop Service, email only tp555(at)windstream.net.  Also tell him what material you want it made from and be prepared to provide the material if he does not have any scrap.  Thomas can make just about anything you can think of without breaking the bank but don't expect him to design and read your mind.  Be VERY specific and if you cannot draw it out or explain it with great specificity then don't expect him to make what you want if you don't really know either.  He has done all kinds of little projects for me and his work is second to none and his pricing is incredibly low.
