Just a data point...
The Bushmaster M4 I bought 3 months ago was cosmetically perfect. However, the barrel was way over-indexed (as all 4 Bushmasters I've bought have been), requiring more than 20 clicks to the left to get it to zero. The front sight needed to be screwed out so far that it was wobbly in the sight base. Despite the acquisition of new staking machinery, the carrier key screws were not staked well and easily loosened. IMO Bushmaster is capable of making a great product, they just don't
I'd inspect one closely before you buy, or buy it from an FFL you trust and will handle shipping costs to the factory for warranty issues.
But back to your original question - it is beautiful! But it's just a range toy and not one I'd trust in a defensive role.
