Hey everyone, been reading up for a bit and decided to make the plunge.  I've been looking at different ARs and building (or semi-building) one seems like a good idea.

I saw this on RRAs website.  http://www.rockriverarms.com/item-detail.cfm?ID=AR4001&storeid=1&image=kcara4.gif&CFID=7768111&CFTOKEN=47845533

Seems like a good deal to me.  All I would need is the stripped lower that I can buy locally, and also maybe a flip up rear sight? something like this http://www.rockriverarms.com/images/flips3.gif

anyways, I could use some tips on whether this is a good idea or should I start from scratch completly?

thanks in advance! Ben

for the cost of the chromelined kit along with whatever its going to cost you for a lower you could get a complete from the factory rifle for a little bit more.
