Thats a nice clean rifle. Good work.
Define armory level? Sounds to me like he bought a complete lower and attached it to an upper. At the most he installed a lower parts kit...which is easier than building a toy car model

It was a complete upper and stripped lower. I'll probably assemble the entire rifle from parts for my next build. (when I can get the funds)

Go for it. With the right tools and instruction its duck soup. You dont need to be a rocket scientist or even an armorer(whatever that means ) to build a rifle from the ground up. Learn from your mistakes and be safe.
