I've been looking for an AR-15 that is "lefty" friendly.  After all the looking I decided on a Stag Arms Model 2L.  I found a new one for a good deal on GunBroker.  I'll post some pics when it arrives.

I will post pics for sure.  I sent payment today @ 10am.  My FFL sent the seller the information @ 10:30am.  The seller had the gun ready for the 2 pm FedEx truck.  Should be here at the FFL on Thursday....

+1.  Extra cool points if the pics show the rifle in action! (I prefer the action pics over the staged foo foo pics)

Congrats on the first. While i understand why you went the Stag lefty route, I've always shot standard AR's and I've never had any issues. The only thing I've done to most of my rifles was add an ambi mag release and ambi selectors. I do keep a few AR's standard ( no add on's to the lower) so I can train with them for the "just in case" moments...

I picked up my AR-15 today.  I can't wait to shoot it.  Stag Arms Model 2L.  I shot some right handed AR's, but I'm left eye dominant.  I didn't like all the brass by my face...

I just got my 1st AR also, a Spikes Mid-length
I'm left handed but have shot right handed rifles all my life.
I gave the Stag left handed rifles some serious thought but went with Spikes.
I don't have any issues with the right handed ejection port, but I haven't had any hot brass land on my neck yet either.
Let us know how it shoots and handles for a Lefty.

Welcome to the club. Its a slippery slope, so watch out. One become three, three becomes nine, so on and so forth.

I'll let you know after I shoot it.
At the range a fellow enthusiast let me shoot his AR-15.  It was a RH model and the brass flying by my face was a little uncomfortable.  I'm left eye dominant, rest the gun on my left shoulder, and use my left hand for the trigger.... so, the left handed model was what I had to have...

I haven't made it to the range yet.  Work and family obligations come first.....

I'll have a range report after my initial outing.

Finally made it to the range this evening.  A flawless 100 bullets down range without any issues.

The range we go to is an outdoor set-up.  It was getting dark before we left.  My son thought the flash out of the end of the barrel was so cool.  He thought it was cooler when he noticed his 22 rifle with some "flash" out of the barrel.

At the range with a new gun and shooting with my son.  Couldn't get any better.  We had a great time and the Stag Arms Model 2L met all of my expectations. No regrets.
