I'm only interested in a complete upper, not stripped. I'm not a builder and have no tools. I need to find someone with one, and the tools, locally. I'll pay them for time and labor and not one of these damn shops that once all quoted me $40 to swap a rapidex for a usgi windage dial. |

View Quote You could always ship all the parts to John Thomas to assemble for you, he only charges like $40.00 plus shipping to assemble an upper. Back in 2007-2008 when I built my first upper I didn't have a barrel wrench yet so I made a post in my Hometown Forum and found a member who was nice enough to install my first barrel. |

View Quote Yup. JT is a wizard. Highly recommended. ADCO can do upper assembly as well. |

View Quote I'd still need to buy ALL of those parts without a barrel and make sure there's no A2 parts like the dust cover. I was also wanting to trade the existing upper, and John Thomas won't take PayPal or credit cards which I'd need to use for a non-local transaction. |

the pics me and wifey took in philippines of govt and captured m16s are sweet. i got to handle home made fals and franken m14s and take em apart for photos. one day hot into it the ac was busted so rivers of sweat was dripping on every gun i touched and my camera kept slipping out of my hands bouncing across the floor. bad day to drink coffee. it makes one nervous to finally touch home made abu sayef m16 micros by the way. |
