First off thanks to the very informative guides and articles from this site I was able to dissaseble my gun and put it back togahter with NO problems. The picture guides made doing this cake :D

My gun is back togahter with the following mods.

YHM Phantom 5C1 FH
G27 Grip W/ the Gapper
Acuwedge
YHM 2 Peice Handguard
Ace Skeleton Stock
(Plus I picked up 1,500 rounds of XM193 Yesterday :p, Should last me a few range trips.)

Now I just have to decide on some optics, and on a two stage trigger (I tried a gun with an RRA 2 stage at a gun show but didn't really like the feel on it, it felt like the stock trigger weight just with 2 stages.) I also need some covers to go over the rails to protect them. Any other items you would suggest I get?

Now I just can't wait to go shoot it tomorrow!

Nope Just looked at YHM's instructions and the 3 rail peice is supposed to go up top, and the single rail peice goes on the bottom, so it is correct.

The  three large vent holes belong at the top, like in your 2n pix,the first pix, the three vent holes
are at the bottom.

I  have the same handguard on my M4 clone.

I don't care if you install it inside out as long as you like it.  So the big question is.....have you taken it out and shot it yet, and how do you like it?
