Sorry for the poor quality, I've got a new digi camera coming this week, mine is 5 years old.

I'll try it out this saturday at 200 yards with the new Barska 3-12x50mm scope.

From R-guns.com, they are selling them for $975, they are one of the largest DPMS dealers.

Sorry, haven't gotten a chance to take her out yet.  Most likely this weekend.

Hartzpad, how high are the rings you are using for the 50mm objective on your AP4?

YOu know, I'm not sure, they came with the cheap Baska 3-12x50 scope from Sportsman's Guide.  If I had to guess I would say they look like medium height rings.

My next project will be to build an AP4 .308 upper...I just spent about 20 minutes on the phone w/ DPMS, making sure that all the parts were available.  It won't be cheap, but I should save about $200 over the price of buying one retail.  Once again, my C&R proves its worth.

DPMS has a railed forend, SWS makes one, and iirc, you can get a barrel nut that will allow you to use Daniel Defense and on or two others as well.
