14.5 or 16" BBL.  I know I am getting an LMT;  I am planning on getting a phantom FH.  Which barrel length would be best.  I know that I would have to permanently attach the FH on the 14.5.

I personaly went with the 16" so I could have the option of changing FHs if i wished. Also the extra barrel is gona give you a little higher velocity, not much but some. an inch and a half really isnt that much difference but you do have to do extra work on the 14.5 to make it legal.....i got a wilson from del-Ton , chrome lined.... finish on it was about the best Ive seen and it went together without a hitch.....

I prefer the 14.5 inch with permanent Phantom. That's what's on my M4gery. The 1.5 inch difference isn't noticeable to me, but I don't bench my M4gery either. Slightly more compact and slightly more concealeable. Also, there are several Phantoms to choose from now.
