Hell all, well after sitting on these parts for three years ... Give or take,
I finally got off my butt and finished it.

The stock/ hand guards are total silence . I think it was the last
Bolt on kit Edwin had. When I bought it he had stopped
Producing them and was shutting the doors. He had no
Roll pin kits left.

-Mr braceman made the moderator , and the 80% lower
-John Thomas cut the barrel, removed the fsb flash and parkerized
All small parts .
- receiver are finished in norrells moly resin by me.
-lower parts/ buffer/ spring and bolt are all rock river
- barrel is one of the new brownells .
- thanks to boywonder for the no tic selector .

I chose to replicate this pic. Enjoy

Aeneas2020... Thanks for the patches.. Much appreciated!!

Thanks! Mine came in suppressingly fast... Like 70 days.
I was expecting trouble because it was a 80 % lower but
No problems . Hope yours comes in soon

I'm hearing they are taking around 5 months now. Sent mine in on Feb. 19th so I'm watching the mail closely every day now.

Ya I think everybody is rushing to get them in July. I still have a few more
Too send in but I'm it sure I'll make it in time

Awesome build. That's exactly how I would build a 607, mostly repro parts but all the correct style, I'm all for that. 80% lowers that are engraved really just sweeten it up and make it look really authentic. I wish I could get a tax stamp in this dumb state.

Very nice!

That is an awesome looking rifle! The 607 is just one of those rifles that can stop you in your tracks and make you drool.

Trimdad that thing is beautiful. Makes me wish i'd never sold my 607 stock all those years ago! In any case now all we need is a range report on it. Thanks for posting the pics

Disregard, great job on the paint!

Nice to see you finally finished it. The slick side upper looks great, I was going to do it, then changed my mind and went with the forward assist. Beautiful version, the 80% lower makes it look much more authentic since the engraving isn't cluttered by two different type faces.

100% pure retro sexiness. But then again, I am kinda partial to this little carbine

Great Job!

Thanks bud. It's definitely taken a while . Every time I said I was going
To buy the stamp... I'd just buy more parts.
I wasn't sure which way I was going but I wound up with
A extra slick side upper,,, so that was that .

I thought about doing another one, maybe green or brown Bakelite. This is certainly the one rifle when it comes to retro, that takes every once of sweat and money right out of you. If you thought about doing more than one your better of doing two at the same time.

Ya , I started it three years ago, and haven't really kept up with what it costs...
I added it up last night.. And damn! You aren't kidding. I think I'll move on
To the 608 that's needs finishing . It won't drain the wallet as much as another 607!

Very, very nice job. I'm about a week away from sending a barrel off to JT to have him work on it.

The engraving came out very nice. Who engraved it?
