This build cost me just under $1200 to complete. That’s including shipping charges, transfer of the lower, and optic.

SPECS:
PSA lower receiver
PSA/MOE lower build kit
PSA 16” mid-length upper (complete with BCG, CH, MBUS and MOE hand guard)
EOTech 512
Vltor single point sling endplate
Condor single point sling (not pictured)

I’m pretty happy with this setup so far. I have yet to shoot it, but I’m really pumped to get out and run it soon. Overall, I think I did well especially considering I was able to stay within my budget with the EOTech.

Foreseeable upgrades: Mod4 Gunfighter CH, H buffer, and ST Dynacomp.

looks REAL good..

you may (after shooting) want an H2 buffer and skip the H... depends on the ammo you plan on running..

you may be able (if you want) to run Wolf PA ammo.. but not the Tula (less kick than the WPA)..

I can run the Tula with my 14.5" BCM Middy just fine.. but on occasion it won't kick the bolt back far enough for a mag-change to go properly and strip the 1st round.. mind the fact I am only running a std. Carbine buffer.. I don't plan on running anymore Tula.. but need to get some WPA for testing.. at which point I may upgrade to an H or H2 buffer also..

just a note on that..

That's a great setup for the price.

Thanks, and I appreciate the feedback. I currently have 2000rds. of M193 that I plan to use up. So I will be running full power 5.56 goodness for awhile. I don’t see myself running the Wolf or Tula ammo anytime soon either. If I do, I can test it out with the standard carbine buffer I have in there now. Now I’m wondering if I should just get the H2 right away.

With optic that's a great price, but something tells me you're not done spending yet ;) welcome!

Great gun for the money.

I am willing to bet you swap out that handguard though. I liked my MOE handguard at first, but I have been eying up a DD free float.

I’m afraid you may be correct. I’m learning that these “completed” builds are never really finished! What have I gotten myself into? haha

Looks good. Post your range results when you get a chance to shoot it.

Most likely not because I have a 6920 that I have some elaborate plans for – including a DD Lite rail system!

It's like a disease, but one I'm glad to have. Make sure you get some proper training and be safe.

My RRA is set up somewhat similar. I love the way a heavy barrel looks!

I like the way you roll. Prices must have gone up though as I don't think I have that much into mine.

PSA is selling a complete rifle with Aimpoint Pro optic included for $999.  So you are right in the ball park price wise but you got to pick your colors and stocks you like.

Nice build!

You may be surprised, but the pictures in my original post were taken with my HTC Smartphone. I find that good lighting goes a long way.

Thanks! I’m really enjoying the color combo too. I’m glad I went with the FDE. My 6920 is my “black” rifle so I wanted to add color to this build.
