I have a Like new Bushmaster shorty AK A3. It has an arms #40 and a eotech 511 on top, no carry handle. The gun probably has 200rds or less thru it and is immaculate.

I need a carry gun, and a buddy of mine has offered his NIB, unfired Bushmaster shorty AK A2 and a used Ruger SP101 .38 for my setup.

Do you think this is a fair trade? I know the A3-arms #40 is worth more than a A2, but his is brand new, and I figure the revolver is worth about the same as my Eotech.

Let me know if this sounds about even for both of us, he is a good friend.

That's one of those trades that is good if both sides are happy with what they get.  Technically I think your setup is worth more, but worth is defined by what someone will pay for what you got.  It's fair enough that I would do it if I was happy with what I was getting vs what I was loosing.
