Well I have new Model 1 Sales upper. It is a 24" varmint upper with a stainless barrel. When I took it out to shoot for the first time it would fail to fire about every three to four shots. The primers are dinged but they do not fire. I am shooting Winchester white box ammo from wallmart. I tried ammo from two different lots, with the same results. I have tried bumping the foward assist after each shot to make sure the bolt is locked but it still fails to fire sometimes. Does anyone know what might be causing this, and how to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I do not think it is the hammer spring because I have used the lower on other uppers with no problem. What should I look for when checking the fireing pin, and what special tools are needed to check headspacing, or should I just take it to a gunsmith. Thanks for the info.
