This is the e-mail I sent to Remington earlier in the week:

"What seems to be the problem with 6.8 production? It seems that you have been dragging your feet with this cartridge. There are a great many of us in the marketplace who want this cartridge. I for one made up a rifle last year.I got lucky and found some brass to reload and this cartridge has potential despite the lack of proper commercial powders for it in the marketplace.

Many have been waiting for better ammo availability before they jump on the bandwagon. Yet all we see is a little hear and a little there and that is mostly component brass and virtually no factory ammo.

Is it that hard to see that when brass or ammo hits a distributor that usually their stock is gone in 48 hrs. or less?"

This is the reply I received yesterday. It is not actually an answer. More of a form response. Guess I'll have to respond and ask them for a more direct answer.

"Thank you for contacting Remington Arms. Many others have been waiting patiently also and are becoming very anxious as well. Remington is doing everything we can to get the loaded rounds and components on the shelves. I will forward your message on to the marketing department as it is important to us that our consumer's concern's are heard. Thank you and have a nice day!"

If you want ammo from Remington go to their site and at the bottom click on the 6.8 link. Or go to customer service link and express your concern. Maybe if enough people "pitch a bitch" they will get it together.

Midway is showing 6.8 10 gr v-max due in 10/15 and 115 hpbt due in 11/15.
