I've got about a dozen new extractors in a parts lot that are marked with a white, painted "N".

This marking mean anything to anyone??

Just curious to see if they are worth using.

they are gi extractors made back in the early to mid 90's......i work for the army as a civilian gunsmith and thats what we got for replacements during that time period.....all we could figure was it was the current contractors id mark..........some speculated they were FN manufacture......and i will add FN did have a contract for replacement parts then.

I'd say if they are FN, they are as good as Colt.  Looks like I have a few spare extractors to use in the future.
