I'm in need of an extractor upgrade. What say you? D-Fender or the upgrade kits from Bravo Co.?

Bravo Co. You get the new spring, insert and o ring.

I got the kits from BCM and wound up not even having to use the o-ring.

If you need to upgrade, you need more than just an insert.

The kit from Spikes, or BCM, is cheap insurance. You might need the 'O' ring, you might not. The new spring and insert are what's important.

While the D-fender is a better product than the 'O' ring, it is MUCH more expensive and is not THAT much better.

Get the BCM kit, use the spring and insert. If you still need you can add the O-ring later.

This. I used the spring and insert in one BCG and the O-ring in another.
