No, not just the dot but the laser beam itself?  Well, until I was in some heavy fog a while ago I had not.  It gave me the idea to try a few things tonight so I snapped a few shots.

I have a nice Crimson Trace setup on my 9mm SMG and I'll photograph that one next but for tonight it was the 1911.

I posted this in a few different places I frequent and I thought some of my fellow ARFCOM members may enjoy this.  Yes, it would have been easier to just Photoshop something in but this is the real deal.

p.s.  When I did the update on the Small Arms Review Magazine Website yesterday I added a poll question asking what YOU would like to see more of in the coming issues of SAR.  If you don't mind clicking a few buttons I would appreciate the feedback.  Thanks for the great work TEAM ARFCOM!!!!

that's a really good pic of it.  I did recently see the light from my OTAL for the first time a couple of weeks ago.  I was suprised to see it, like you said I knew it was easy to see in fog but I didn't think I would see it in normal indoor lighting.

I also voted in your poll, I'd like to see modern machine guns, modern semi's, I always like the legal stuff but you guys already do pretty good with that but more wouldn't hurt and ammo testing.  It's a good rag the way it is but if you guys ad just a few of the suggestions I will always buy it.  As of now I buy it when I see something inside I really want to read.

I had a green laser for a brief period of time before I sold it because it was too bright for indoor use. Outside at night, or in a dark room, U could see the beam.

At night lately, I guess because of moisture in the air, I've been seeing my red lasers outside (the beam itself). When I used my laser boresighter to sight in my PS90 one night, I saw the red beam - was kinda surprised.
