Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - Eotech on forearm?

I have a standard A2 midlength and I want to get a quad rail forearm and mount a  eotech on it. Will it be usable or will it be not worth it? (mounted too far forward or the sights be in the way)

The EOTech will work fine regardless of how far away your eyes are from it.  If you don't want a co-witness with your iron sights, you will need a riser for the EOTech.  As gar as what handguards are better for your setup, someone else will be able to tell you more than I could.
