Does anyone have any experience with an Eotech on a SIR?I have heard from a reliable source that it's problematic.

Also, what about an ARMS throwarm attachment for the Eotech?  Does it add height?  Thanks.

eothech is too hight to put on a SIR. You can't co-witness with the front post. Eotech is designed to put on bare flat-top. If SIR is what you have, then you should consider aimpoints. Its low ring make it perfectly on SIR.

You will not able to co-witness EOTech with SIR. but in a pinch, you should always transition to your secondary weapon. if the target is a bit further out, you can always remove the sight behind cover.  co-witnes is nice, but I do find that a necessary must.
