I seen this online and was wondering if anyone here has used it to replace the standard three gas rings. The description says it's more reliable than the standard. Here is a copy/paste.

E-RING One-Piece Gas Ring
One-piece gas ring is made from a proprietary material that will withstand the most tortuous conditions. Single piece design prevents gas ring misalignment, misalignment that can lead to gas pressure leakage. Makes the AR15/M16 more reliable. Guaranteed for 10,000 rounds.

If you have used it and have any negative or good comments please post them. I'm thinking of buying one, but not if they suck.

I've always viewed the one-piece gas rings as a solution in search of a problem... they've always seemed overly tight. If I had a bolt carrier that was heavily worn or wildly out of spec I'd use them, otherwise, the good old gas rings work great...

A few threads on one-piece gas rings...

Thanks man, After reading and thinking about it. I think I'll just buy a few sets of the regular three rings. I guess if it's not broke don't fix it.
