Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - ER Shaw barrels

Thinking about buying a complete upper with a ER Shaw barrel. Anybody have any opinions on this barrel. Will have a 1:14 twist. Opinions on that twist also wanted. Will not be shooting any bullets over 55 grains.

Excellent barrel manufaturer... Bad twist ratio for .224 bullets, go 1:12" or 1:10" twist for 55 grain and under...

Opps, my mistake. It is a 1:12 twist rate. 24 inch barrel.
