Hi all..I mounted my EOtech on my Bushy A3 upper, nd the front sight was in the way, so I bumped it up with a 1/2Inch spacer...this solved it, but I dont have any way of using the Iron sights..I have seen guys with flip up sights...what is the best setup here?? Co Witnessing is something I havent tried or thought about....Input or pics?? thanks

Look through the EOTech with the ARMS 40 flipped down.

to co witness you just mount BUIS to receiver and EOTech directly to receiver, dot should be
right on top of the front sight post.
try to get your EOTech as far forward as possible.href=http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b317/demusn79/th_Im000443.jpg

The front post should be in the way if you want to co-witness along with your BUIS.  Just mount the EO Tech directly to the top of the picatinny rail.

I have the same basic set-up. EO tech on a RRA flat top with ARMS 40 (flip up/flip down) no spacer needed.
Works great.

Welcome

I'm a bit different than most people. I've not yet installed a BUIS on my rifle, and have yet to feel the need for one. If my Eotech gets damaged, batteries die and I don't have spares or whatever, I can just remove it, slap the carry handle on and continue. I have also found that the Eotech window itself can serve as a crude rear sight, minute-of-man easy enough.

ETA: post 2000 go me.
