Archived [ARCHIVED THREAD] - EOTECH Laser light output, Harmful?

Does anybody know if long term use of this Class II laser device will cause eye damage? Right on the side of the Eotech unit it says "Aviod Exposure -- Laser Radiation is emitted from this aperture" pointing to the viewing area...Is Laser radiation still dangerous after it has been reflected or diffused? Even if viewed from a foot or so away..  Thanks...
