Stupid question of the day:

How can one tell the Rev and Model# of an EOTech? Have a friend looking to dump one real cheap, but doesn't recall Mod/Rev#. I saw nothing written on it aside from the ser #.

Thanks

If it uses AA batteries, then it's most likely a model 512. The latest revision is "F". Mine has the letter "F" in the lower right hand corner of the left side. Directly underneath and to the right of "For Law Enforcement / Military Use". There should also be a date code on the bottom.

Thanks. It appears that's what it is. AA Batts and an "F" noted where you said so. Also has NV capability..

It is a 552 if it has NV.
