I am looking for a single point sling.

The TROY sling looks nice but, it has the metal HK style hook. It looks like it has a sleeve that slips over the hook.

I will be using this sling with a transferable M16A1 lower and do not want the metal HK hook scratching up my lower.

Does the metal HK hook on the TROY sling contact the lower?

Can the TROY sling be bought with a nylon attachment ALA Wilderness?

No it doesn't do any damage to your lower. I am running the TROY and a CQD sling plate currently...

I have not seen a SINGLE TROY sling in two months. TROY also cannot tell me when they will be in stock again...

They don't make the sling. The vendor that makes them for TROY is/was having some issues. They are about 2 weeks out....
