Isn't there another $75 charge for a "custom barrel" for that?

I have heard that Model 1 has been shipping their dedicated 22 barrels quickly (a week or so after ordering) but I can't confirm that.

Kurts Kustom Firearms also has 20" barrels, but I would guess the lead time to be about 2 to 3 months.

Thanks,

Brad

We'll find out how fast they are shipping they're uppers for .22 LR as I ordered one the other night.

I ordered one some months before the election and they were waiting on the bolts and I had to cancel the order after over two months.

I ordered two 5.56 uppers during that time and got them in around 8-9 days.

I ordered a Model 1 16" LW dedcated .22 barrel on 1/12/2009.  It arrived on 1/20/2009 and that included a one day delay in the original UPS delivery date due to "Adverse Weather Conditions".

Cheers,

RS

I got mine in about half the time I was quoted, but that was before the outcome of the election.  Would have been quicker, but I got a dissy bbl, so it was crowned and threaded with 16" bbls, but profiled with 20" bbls.

Also keep in mind that with a KKF bbl it uses an unmodified conversion kit.  Biggest reason I got it, I had the conversion and extra parts laying around for the build.

Compas Lake makes high end .22 A2 uppers for Service Rifle shooters.  They be expensive though.
