Bushmaster.
And they are made from 4150 ,machine gun steel, not like 4140 in almost all othere. That is chrome lined. You don't want the exterioc chromed like your truck bumpers, do you? |

They are all chrome lined unless they are stainless steel. That's the only way they all come. Go to their fac section. It explains all.

Bushmaster doesnt make an 18" chrome lined barrel.
Ive never heard of anyone making one. Buy a 20" from Bushmaster and have ADCO cut it down. That way you get a choice between H-bar and Gov't (smart) weight. |

ADCO does good work... 20-2=18
Kurt's Kustom also has been making 'Kurtzgewehrs' (Dissipators) for a few years now out of Bushy Govt barrels cut down to 16 and opening up the gas ports a tad....they work like a charm Dont even worry about it...call Steve drop ship a Bushy barrel to him.. |

18" and chrome lined:
 It was a 20" A2 barrel that was chopped to 18". Don't let anybody tell you that a chrome barrel will flake if it's cut. I cut this one with a hacksaw and have had no problems with flaking. |

Ditto the cutting on chrome lined barrels. I've had 2 cut with no flaking whatsoever. A lot of hooey, if you ask me.
