I just got a L.U.L.A Magazine loader, and it's good stuff, and I got to thinking something like this would be a great gift to send over to at least some of our fighting men & women oversea's.

I sure Uncle Sam provides our Soldiers with what they need, but these things made my life easier, and I'm just a civilian nobody. I can imagine what good use a Soldier would put such a tool to.

I was in Iraq from apr 03 to Mar 04 and never heard of a LULA.

I could be wrong but I think they load their Mags with stripper clips and unload them by pulling the trigger.

Stripper clips!

Nope, no aftermarket loader is issued. The 5.56 we use comes in 10 rd stripper clips with a adapter that clips over the back of the M16 mag. Works well for the most part.

Soldiers are already equipped with mag loaders, one on each hand. Thumbs!

Just the stripper clips and the speed loader safety pinned tp the bandoleers...

I've shot with some of the AF CAC's and they had the beta loaders. I didn't ask if they were GI though. They were who turned me onto them and I bought a couple myself and love them.

I brought my own with me to bosnia, everyone in the unit loved it. If you know someone overseas, I'm sure they would appreciate the thought. But, as has been noted, guys are pretty accustomed to just using their thumbs and stripper clips.
