Gentlemen,

The question is simple; Can one order a non-chrome lined barrels from RRA? I'm planning to buy a 16" pre-ban upper and cutting it back to 11.5" I've heard some rumors that cutting a chrome lined bbl isn't the smartest thing to do. Mainly because the chrome might start to peel, corrosion might get between the bbl and the chrome and the crown is hard to make on chrome. Dunno whether it's true or not.

Does anyone have any experience on this matter? All comments appreciated.

Yes, chrome lining costs extra.  I have a non-chromed RRA barrel.

I have one Non Chrome lined RRA M-4 barrel left at $185-
