A lower reciever without any finish on it?  I have a 0% lower but I dont really feel like building the thing as its more of a display piece.  I want to get one so i can get it finished in some other color.  I Would also like to engrave some things in the lower which is why an unanodized one is best

your best bet is to have a finished lower bead blasted and refinished as you desire.

make sure it is type III hard coat anodized, much of the strength in the aluminum is from the anodizing.
