I have a few AR15's and every time I get an extra Upper I always end up purchasing additional pre ban lowers.

Am I the only one with this Problem?

What is a person to do ?

I think I've Lost it ?

What Ya Think ?

Yes, it is like the endless chain of creation, every man needs a woman (at least one) every upper needs a lower. It is written, and it must be so.

I have a Colt Govt Sporter, it sits..

I have an OLY lower, 3 complete uppers, and a Sendra lower, it sits, never had a round fired with an upper attached. The uppers seem to go to the OLY SBR, thats the one that gets used all the time.

It works in both directions too! Every time I pick up an extra lower, a new upper becomes a requirement. Soon, you'll have more AR's than you can shoot in a day. Accept it. There's nothing you can do about it anyway.

Not only normal, but it's abnormal if you DON'T get a new lower after acquiring a new upper (or vice versa), and you need to see a psychiatrist about the your condition[:D]

Do additional Uppers Always Lead to New Lowers ?

Hell Yes!

The other thing I think of related to this topic is, when I got a 100 bucks or so extra, I bought up stripped lowers. Now, I'm sitting on 3 stripped lowers awaiting a build.

I always seems to happen to me that way.
Extra upper=new lower.
It is an endless chain of events.

No, douche.

I have three completes, and two extra uppers.  No worries.

Yes, it does.  It is just like trying to biscuits and syrup to break out even.

That just means you need two more lowers.[8D]

Get three - that way you'll need an upper again.

Sooner or later you will out run the lowers, at least I did. I mean I really like M16 and M16A1 uppers, so much so that I have 4 or....maybe 5. But I don't feel like I need a lower for each one. I intended to convert some of them to post ban but could not bring myself to do so. Kinda of glad now that the ban should sunset.

The best part is when my wife saw that I purchased 1/2 of a gun, she said "that is really stupid, you should have purchased a whole gun."  I said to her "your right" and then I purchased the other half to make her happy.

Not a problem - you just have BGD like the rest of us.

Same with me...I have 4 1/2 AR's (4 lowers, 5 uppers).  I need another preban lower!  But, since I just got a pre-ban on Saturday, I will have to wait for a while.
