Went to the "toy store" today looking for a YHM 2-piece. The dealer said he called YH and was told that the mid-lengths aren't even in production yet...

Does this mean all the web dealers should change thier adds to "never in stock" instead of "out of stock", or was I fed a line today? Has anyone ever seen one?

"MIDLENGTH OUT OF STOCK"

Why not get a one piece? They are easy to put on. Is your muzzle device pinned on??? Even still, not so hard to work around...

I could go that route I guess....don't really wanna mess with the FSB though. I was just curious if any distributor has ever had a middy "in stock".

YHM told me that they are possibly a few weeks away from getting more Mid-lengths in. He also said the site will be updated once they recieve product.

I just got one directly from YHM and was told they have plenty in stock.

Midlength version is in?

I would like to know if the rails are truly in spec this time around, or if I should go for another brand of middie 2 piece?

When were they out of spec? The FF rails had out of spec rails on them, once upon a time, but I never heard of any problems with the non-FF rail systems.

Mine are spec. And even the top rail co-witnesses with my bushy flat top

IIRC, when they first came out. I remember a looong thread about the subject sometime ago.

I think I will give them a shot when they are released.

ETA, just saw them on the YHM site, $168+change. Brightflashlights just got them in for $130.00 shipped.

I'm thinking that was the FF tube rails.

Just found this thread again.....Here's an update.

I went with a FF midlength from YHM. Eagle Firearms had a good deal on them. I think they were cheaper than the 2pc. Went on with-out a hitch, and the FSB came right off (didn't have to bash the pins hard at all). Rock solid set up. TG vert grip was tight, but fits nicely.

Thanks for the input fellas.
