Just finished putting together my lower receiver... and encountered a problem.  The hammer is not being caught by the disconnector, hence when the bolt cycles forward, it hangs up on the hammer.  I took this apart and reassembled several times.. but still the same problem; the disconnector spring does not appear to be pushing up the disconnector.  The spring that I had for the disconnector has a blue polymer insert in it..... over at Glocktalk, someone said it sounded like this was a extractor spring.... which would explain the issue.  Hows this sound to you guys here... any help is appreciated... I really want to get this to the range for some shooting.  Thanks in advance for any assistance.

That's correct. The spring with the blue polymer insert is the extractor spring.

Disconnector spring is just a sping, kind of funnel shaped on one end to help it stick into the trigger.
