I was just wondering if anyone has any data on the differences between different brands of ballistic tips for 223 rds. I'm mainly looking at how the bullet itself performs(I will be reloading these). Penetration depths, cavities, accuracy(I know "my results will vary"). etc.

Basically trying to determine which will be better for my intended uses.

Bullets I'm looking at are:(all in the 55-60 grain range)

Hornady Vmax
Nosler ballistic tip
Sierra Blitz King
Others??

I tried to find some info from ammolab but couldn't find any.

If you are varmitting any of the aboce will work.

If it is for social occasions none have the penetration you want.
