I want to build my first AR but I am not sure what to get or what is better CAR or mid lenght gas system.
What is more accurate?

Please help me out and inform me on what to buy.

Thanks.

middy if you're shootin open sights..... CAR or middy with optics will have liitle difference in accuracy. i like the CAR's, light and tight.

I went with the M4 Flattop CAR..   dont notice a drop in accuracy from my 20" hbar A2..
Optics play a huge role in accuracy , just as much as shooter.
i suppose it boils down to preference. or what you dont have yet.. :)

p.s. all pictured uppers are of RRA origin..
thanx to ar15sales.com for photo linking and some of the best deals around.

+1  The greater distance between the rear sight and front sight base makes it a little more accurate.

With optics, it's not a big deal.  I like the CARs
