Hello,

Does someone know what teh differences are between a Colt LE6920 and a LE6921? I know that the barrel length of the LE6920 is 16 inch and the LE6921 14.5 but are there other things different such like the markings? IS the LE6921 marked M4 because it has a 14.5 inch barrel?

Thanks.

The 6920 has a 16 inch barrel and the 6921 has a 14.4 inch barrel, both are 1:7 inch twist rate.  The only real difference is the barrel length.  Hope this helps

Yes, the 6921's that I have seen have been marked LE M4 on the receiver.

We cannot just attach the Vortex to the LE6921.  These are factory registered “Short barrel rifles”.  They only sell as NFA weapons (with or without any additional attachments).  The solution is for us to attach your Vortex to the Colt 14.5” M4 barrel and install this on an LE6920.  The LE6921 receivers and LE6920 receivers are marked differently even though otherwise (as you noted) they are identical with the exception of barrel length.  They even run in the same serial number grouping (LExxxxxx).  I hope this helps.  Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you,

Tina Elmore

Does anyone know a dealer with an export licence that can export the LE6921? Because in my country there is no minimal barrel length so how can I get a LE6921?

Thanks.

Theoretically, you could have your C3 dealer get a 6921, perm attach phantom, and then have them remove it from the NFA list, and transfer it to you as a title 1 rifle..

Or pay the $200 transfer for the SBR..

All of that is IF you dealer can get one for you....

What country are you in?

There are several European AR owners on here and some folks from South Africa and New Zealand.
