Anybody have a source for the Canadian Diemaco C7/8 back up rear sight for flatops? Thanks!

WHY? It is all plastic and regarded as a throw away sight by Diemaco and the Canadian forces. It has been so described here many times in the past. I don't think they can sell them in the Civ. market anyways. Jack

Doesn't Yankee Hill make a steel one that looks similar?

It's actually a pretty decent backup sight that weighs next to nothing and works well. Only adjustable for windage. -- Chuck

I've seen an aluminum version of the Diemaco, but I can't seem to find it again anywhere. It's not the Yankee Hill version, as that's an A2, but it is indeed very similar.

Cav Arms (you know those guys with the cool plastic lowers in a rainbow of colors?) make an ALUMINUM version of the Demaco sight. There is a photo of it on their website:
Stand Alone rear sight attaches to your flat top receiver via clamping secured by two allen head screws. MSRP $65.00
