LOL..I'm a big OCC fan..watch their show on discovery HD all the time.

Those are some serious AR's they've got there: suppressors, CTR's, ACOG's, SBR's. Do you know if they are owned by those guys? Borrowed? Rented?
I say rented since they are based in NY state. The only time I saw them shooting in NY was shotguns the show was interesting the first few seasons but it turned into a bore fest for me |
Jesus Christ who is the big bastard in the back?. He don't need a weapon.
funny this comes thread comes up today.
I just saw mikey at Mid Hudson Sporting clays in New Paltz this morning, he was setting up while we were signing out. |
Wow, ya' learn something new everyday.
EDIT: That rifle looks like a toy in your hands. |
Thats what I was thinking... Hell that SOB dwarfs Paul Sr. |
Him, I'll call Sir. |

Thats me you bastages. I guess y'all would not have f*$ked with me as much on this site if you knew. 6'7". My main man Jesse Gomez on the R end is pretty big too.
I guess you did not read the post. LWRC AKA US, went up to Newburg to shoot an episode scene with our LWRC gas piston operated rifles with the boys at OCC. |
By the way, if you didn't recognize him, Matt Burkett is the guy on the far Left. If you don't know who Matt is, you are not a 3 gun nut. Matt is a world champion 3 gun competitor. Sells awesome video's that will reduce your splits and increase your effectiveness with an AR.
The show where the shot the shotguns...um scared me for them and those around them.
I'm glad they developed into super gun nuts. That's cool. We need more of us here! |
Actually that one episode where they all went shootin skeet...Mikey was the best shot out of all of them. |
so how did ya get the Class III and NYS-AWB stuff into New York?
We have them here in IL but the citizens of IL are not allowed to own NFA's...I'm guessing through another III FFL dealer in NY |
Tag for further Darren mocking |
I wan't mocking him at all. Just stating the facts, in the show Paul Sr. is a pretty big bastard, and this guy makes him look small, along with his freind in the right in the picture. |
Glad to see it. However, if their range behavior is anything like their workshop antics, i'll keep far far away.
Thats wierd i wasnt aware it was a sexualy transmited disease sorry couldnt help it im still 14 at heart, cool pics though |

I'm sure that's scripted drama. It's unfortunate that these shows have to degenerate into staged temper tantrums to keep people interested. Although I'm not overly interested in choppers I'd watch some of these shows about building and racing cars and bikes once in awhile because it's sort of interesting to see the behind the scenes stuff in some businesses, but the fake arguments and all the "ohmigod the deadline is almost here" stuff is embarrassing to watch. Great exposure for Darren and the guys anyways. Let us know when it is going to be shown. |
I hope if they ever decide to build their own AR's that they at least learn to use the right tools first.
Some of the shit I've seen those guys doing while wrenching on bikes guarantees I'd never call them to assemble me a bike. |

Orange County Choppers |
I love OCC and I too saw the episode where Mikey rocked the clays.
Sweet pic. Definitely let is know when it'll air, of at all..... |
The show may very well have a scripted component to it, and probably does.
I did read a post on another forum from a guy who lives in Orange County, NY. He said before they ever were on television, he remembered seeing Paul, Sr. and Paul Jr., at a local gym sometimes. Said that these guys were like they were on TV, as far as constantly bitchin' and arguing with each other. LOL |
Oh I definitely don't believe for one minute their whoopin and hollerin at each other is scripted. Everything else is though...sadly. |
Local PD and LW lent the rifles out. Matt was there as the instructor/safety. He's one of my coaches and can tell you if you want to learn to EXTREMELY improve your shooting, Matt's the guy to call.

Those bunch of of idiots wouldn't know a real gun if Jesse James built one and rubbed it in their face. They are in NY and you can't like gums and live in NY, you just can't.
I used to watch the show, mostly for the creative/motorcyclist in me before they went to TLC.
paul jr is fucked up in the head and if it wasnt for the likes of Vinney, they wouldn't get have the shit done they do. |
I've got a friend that was set up next to them at a motorcycle trade show in Cincinnati . He got to talk to them before and after the show was open to the public. He asked them if it was really that crazy in their shop. Paul Jr. replied "we're actors, we do what the directors tell us to do." I catch the show from time to time but, I also used to watch the A-Team just because it was so unbelievably funny.

They do have the camera crew in there for real, every day, MANY camera men. I thought to myself how tiring it must be. Even when nothing is going on, the cameramen are there filming the everyday work. I can assure you it is a real working shop though. I say good on em for becoming so successful. It is one of the most popular reality shows on TV. It is the most popular show in Australia
While reality TV is hardly real, the AP on the show told me this is much closer to reality TV than most programs. If you guys want to improve your shooting, I suggest Matts video's. I watched him teach the PD, and guys the chief said could hardly qualify were hitting the dueling tree at 50 yards with their duty pistols by the end of the day. I learned alot. |
