Has anybody had this problem with their threads not being concentric and off. I just got off the phone with AAC and they have informed me that the threads are off and that since this happened my suppressor had a bunch of baffle strikes. I am to say the least very unhappy about this. Has anybody else had such an experience.

Not wanting to sound like an asshole...you get what you pay for. I'm sorry you had to learn the hard way. Is AAC going to take care of you suppressor anyway? If not, I'd call Del-Ton and insist they cover it.

I have a middy that is from Del Ton and have not noticed it but I still have the A2 hider on it. From my understandingDel Ton gets therir brls from Wilson, and Wilson has a good rep from what I understand.

I hope AAC or Del Ton makes it right for you.

Thanks for the heads up, how does one check for concentric threading?

Take care

Delton has a great reputation. I haven't seen anything like this before and as far as their products go they have gotten great reviews. If there is a problem I am sure Delton will make it right. Of course there couldn't be anything wrong with the suppressor.....

I sent the whole thing back to AAC and Freddie called me on the phone and said that the threads were crooked and that is why I got baffle and endcap strikes. I am getting him to send me in writing what is wrong with the upper so I can send it to delton. I have other uppers, but the suppressor is still at AAC right now. I am just pissed that I have to go through this and hopefully delton will make this right for me.

If I was delton I wouldn't care what AAC had to say about their barrel threads. I am sure they will want to verify it for themselves. Right now we have one opinion from a manufacturer that has everything to gain by blaming it on the barrel. It is possible a bad barrel threading got out and if it did I am sure delton will want it back. It does suck for you and I hope everything gets taken care of.

EAHOY,

Who installed the mount?

Did they visually check the bore with teh can mounted to see if the can visually obscured the bore?

Did anyone run a rod down the bore?

How long was he barrel?

What ammo were you using?
