So I have started my build on 2  AR's, but I am having difficulty finding a barrel.  I have all of the other parts.  Well today I talked with a local gunsmith and he has a DPMS complete upper with FF tube that he is willing to sell for $450.

Should I go ahead and pick this up and sell the parts that I had already acquired?

I was thinking that since this is my first build, it would be a lot less hassle to get the already complete upper than risk messing up trying to build it myself.

What are the details on the upper? Is it new, what barrel and caliber is it? I'd be interested in it if you choose not to buy it. I think you should go ahead and buy it, though as long as it's in good shape.

Yea, I went ahead and bought it.  It's 5.56 with a YHM FF on it.  Really nice.  Time to sell the stuff I was gonna use. LOL
