I was digging in my bookshelves and pulled out my copy of "The Tactical Marksman" By Dave Lauck. As I was skimming it I was reminded of the perimeter carbine concept that he covered in the book. I like the idea personally, but I am a basic user of my patrol rifle, with nothing more that the iron sights and a flashlilght.

My question is, does anyone have any experience with this style of set-up, either from D&L or built elsewhere?
