Well, not really.  I am doing my first builds (two).  Just when I think I know what kit/kits, lowers, etc that I am going to buy, someone here points out another good kit deal, or..... whatever.

Now I know why so many of you seem to have several ARs - you couldn't decide either.

for me....I think it come down to what you want to use it for.

The most versatile choices for two builds, then I suggest an M4 with aimpoint for ranges 20-150yds. 4moa.  And a 18' SPR w/3x9 mildot build for 100-500 yards.

And of course, you will need some sort of .308 for longer range large game stuff. So build a FAL or AR10 up too while you are at it.

That’s called BRD, in the end you just have to collect them all.

Don't forget to build a 20 inch A2.

A 20 inch A2 should be required for everyone

Tru dat. But that was last on my list of ARs to assemble.
I still have an A1 upper with matching buttstock, and grip out in the garage. Gotta order an A1 lower from NDS...

oh gosh... now I understand.

I have spent the last two weeks worrying about "which kit to buy"

A free float bbl rail whore?

OR

a standard AR so I can put a bayonet on it...for killin of course.

being that a bayonet and free float bbl aren't to good together...basicaly mutualy exclusive... (can you say FUBAR) this "choice" has been killing me.

now I know, I am goign to have to "get both"

(that is unless my CAR get's sub 2 MOA)

HB stainless, so it's possible
