Does anyone make a mount... so I can Mount a D sized Maglite to my AR ras?

I know it is gonna weigh a ton, not worried about that.  Just something to use in a pinch.

No, not duct tape.

I have already googled, and i can't find anything.

Have a good one.

Thanks guys.

A Surefire G2 and a 1" scope ring would be a much better choice, and can be had for $35. For $45 more you could add a remote tailcap and a Z32 bezel.

anything surefire would be a better idea.  i totally agree with this.  i am just looking for a cheap way (not duct tape) to attach my "modded" maglite to my ras.

A D sized light? Goodluck trying to keep that muzzle pointed at the target.

Well, in that case, have you considered zip ties?

Hmmm Properly sized Aluminum Tubing, and a Weaver style mount of your choice.
Drill the Tubing and attach the mount.... insert the light in the tube clamp or install set screws...
I remember someone used to make this back in the day for the regular AR/M16 Can't remember what it is called. they also had a side handle for a mag light like on a PR24 Baton.
Seems it was an acronym.... I think a lot of LE places sold them.
Might Try Shomer Tech.....

What "pinch" would this be used in?   Cause you would need to not be surprised when you got:

BANG.....    DARK!

+1. If you're going incandescent, get a shock isolated Bezel. Or else just go the LED route with something with a high bang-for-the-buck ratio like the Pelican M6 LED.

Mod a Min-Mag ($10) with an Opalac LED conversion ($25) if you want to mod something - but for that cost you might as well buy the G2...

My gunsmith's quote comes to mind. "You'll have the world's most expensive blunt object." Save your money and invest in a nice aluminum baseball bat. It'll be more effective "in a pinch".

 Why not wood?

Aluminum doesn't break as easily, isn't affected by the climate, it's cheaper, and makes a clean, crisp sound as it hits the guy's skull.

Just mount a flare launcher to your rifle.  This way you can light up your whole house if someone breaks in.
